Folkingham Past & Present History group present a talk by Nicholas Watts of aspects of farming & conservation.
Nicholas is particularly interested in birds and has created wildlife habitats and a conservationist approach to all he does. He has a very successful bird food business,
a farm shop, restaurant, acres of sunflowers and raised £2 million for RSPB ,Wildlife Trusts by opening up his farm to the public.

THREEKINGHAM VIKING FESTIVAL

Threekingham
300+ marauding Vikings will reenact the legendary Battle of Threekingham. Join Aveland History Group to witness the daily battles, and immerse yourselves in a vast living history camp, learning to live and fight as a Viking. Help unearth the treasures that lie beneath in an archaeological dig. For the more serious historians a series of lectures will be held daily in St Peters Church focusing on the lives of the Vikings both here and abroad. There will be market traders, catering outlets and free parking.
