FOLKINGHAM GEORGIAN FESTIVAL
Friday 16th - Sunday 18th September
Folkingham
The Georgian age brought a new era to Folkingham when its spacious market place was redeveloped in the spirit of improvement. This historic setting forms the backdrop for a fun 3-day family festival, which will recreate the drama and bustle of this former market town. Step back in time via a period ball, quire and dancers, Napoleonic soldiers, theatre, crafts, talks, kids activities and food & market stalls. The unique House of Correction will be open and there will be guided tours of the Georgian buildings. This is an Aveland Odyssey event in partnership with The Landmark Trust.
